Jim Kalahar built this Masters lay-down version
of a Soap Box Derby car for his 16 year old daughter Shannon who won
the Nebraska-Iowa-North Dakota red, white and blue trophy to qualify
for the World Championships in Akron, Ohio. Shannon was 5th in the
NDR National Championship at Saginaw, Michigan and 5th in the All
American World Championships at Akron.
