Dan's Letter to our Fans

Dear Fans,

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, for the outpouring of "e-mail" from all over the globe regarding our pulling out of the CART Champ car series for the year 2000. I must admit that I did not read many of your messages with a dry eye. The AAR staff, my family and I are truly touched.

I remain a big fan of CART Champ car racing, and I do continue to believe in its enormous potential.

Our most recent Eagle Champ car did have a pretty special look to it, didn’t it? We have not said that this is the finale for AAR in racing, but we say that we intend to stand back and lick our wounds for some time and keep a close eye on how things are being sorted out.

Our youngest son Alex will be "duking it out" in the Atlantic series so you know who we’ll be rooting for.

While we will feel a bit out of place without a team in CART we think this "escape" may enable us to finally bring our Alligator motorcycle project forward with more emphasis after it has been languishing on the back burner for so many years.

Please don’t give up on us, we are still kicking!
